"When the training point is surrounded with humour, it can be readily digested, remembered and applied”.

Do not miss this opportunity to secure an irreplaceable and true icon of our time.

We all know John Cleese as a found member of the unforgettable ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus’ and as the star and writer of the hugely popular television comedy ‘Fawlty Towers’.

John studied Law at Cambridge University and whilst there met future fellow-Python, Graeme Chapman. He was a script-writer for a number of BBC TV and radio programmes, including the influential ‘Frost Report’, presented by David Frost.

Along with Monty Python’s Flying Circus John also co-starred in and co-wrote the films ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’, Monty Python’s ‘Life of Brian’ and Monty Python’s ‘Meaning of Life’.

Fawlty Towers topped the British Film Institute list of the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes.

The 1980s and 1990s saw John Cleese focused mainly on film work resulting in BAFTA and Emmy awards and an Academy Award nomination as screen writer for his film ‘A Fish Called Wanda’.

He appeared in two James Bond films, ‘The World Is Not Enough’ and ‘Die Another Day’, as well as ‘The Harry Potter’ and ‘Shrek’ series.

In 1972 he showed his business savvy when established the video training company Video Arts. Using humour to demonstrate good business practice, the company covers topics such as corporate creativity, time-management, communication and customer service.

With Robin Skinner the family therapist John Cleese wrote two books on relationships, Families and How to Survive Them and Life and How to Survive It. The books are presented as a dialogue between Skynner and Cleese.

A passionate advocate of the need to encourage creativity in business life, John challenges the basis of the decision-making processes prevalent in most of today’s organisations. He argues that ‘unless organisations are brave enough to reject the notion that business managers should think and act fast they will lose the ability to come up with innovative ideas and solutions and consequently put their futures in jeopardy’. He proposes that there is a pressing need to harness the power of unconscious thinking.

An engaging speaker, John Cleese displays an endless energy and his inimitable sense of humour. Enjoy an entertaining exploration of business basics, creative thinking and problem solving.
