A living statue act with a distinct difference. First the sound of cogwheels emanates from this toy-like 19th Century photographer. As he slowly comes to life, he turns his camera to a member of the audience and prepares to take a picture. Two little doors open and out of the camera box pops a little whistling bird reminiscent of the old expression ‘look at the birdie’. Then as a crowning moment, a spectacular little light and smoke flash comes from above the hand held flash as though the picture is being taken. As the audience exclaim, the photographer freezes again …
